Let's 'Jam' and B Sharp#
Students and parents are invited to join our instrumental music teachers for a 'come and try' session following Orientation Day. Students will have the opportunity to try a range of instruments and have some fun!

STEM Challenge

Swim Session
Students are invited to participate in the following swim session. NB: This session is intended for capable swimmers.

'Just Dance' Workshops
Students are invited to attend two fun and engaging dance workshops. These sessions are intended to help boost confidence, have fun and make new friends.
Week 5: Thursday 16 November 2023 4.00pm - 5.00pm
Week 7: Thursday 23 November 2023 4.00pm - 5.00pm

Swim Trials
Students are invited to participate in the following swim trials in preparation for Interhouse and Interschool selection.

Digital Induction Day
Students will receive their iPad Pro at the Digital Induction Day.
This is the only compulsory event, at which staff will go through the following: Digital Citizenship Workshop, Picking up the iPad Package, Recommended Parental Restrictions and Seqta Overview.
To ensure correct device management for both school and home, it is essential that both a parent and daughter attend the digital induction day for collection of their iPad Pro and essential information pertaining to its use.

'Come and Try' Volleyball Clinic
Students are invited to learn new skills, meet new friends and try out a new sport in readiness for IGSSA Volleyball in Term 1.
Tuesday 30 January 2024 9.00am - 11.00am
Iona Sports Centre (entry via Lochee Street)
Wear sports attire and bring along a water bottle, hat and morning tea.

UNIFORM FITTINGS
To make your uniform fitting appointment please call the Uniform Shop on 9285 5270 or email uniform@iona.wa.edu.au with your preferred day and time, noting:
- Appointments are 30 minutes
- Appointments will commence from Tuesday 7 November through to Saturday 25 November 2023.
Limited appointments will be available from January 2024 through to the commencement of the 2024 school year.

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC PROGRAM
If your daughter is interested in commencing or continuing with instrumental lessons through the school instrumental tuition program, please read the Music Handbook and complete the Music Enrolment Form. Forms received before Friday 24 November 2023 will be allocated a place in the 2024 program. Enrolment forms received at the start of 2024 will be processed later and students allocated a teacher if there is availability.
If you would like your daughter to learn an instrument next year, please complete the Enrolment Form and return to Mrs Jenny Nepgen (Music Administration Assistant), jenny.nepgen@iona.wa.edu.au

SMARTRIDER CARDS
Year 7 students will be given their new Smartrider Cards in their first week at school in 2024.
