Preparing for Life Beyond Iona
Guiding Our Graduates with Purpose and Heart.
The final year of schooling at Iona is about more than just exams - it is a time to reflect, grow and step confidently into the future.
In Year 12, we walk alongside our students - nurturing, guiding and encouraging them to make the most of every opportunity. Whether they are pursuing the ATAR or Access Learning pathway, our focus is on helping each student strive for personal excellence, while also maintaining a healthy balance between study, Co-curricular passions, family and friends.
Leadership, service and self-awareness are central to the Pastoral Care program in these final years. It is a time when students begin to see themselves not just as learners, but as leaders - young adults ready to make their mark on the world.
As graduation approaches, students are welcomed into the Iona Past Pupils’ Association (IPPA - a vibrant and supportive network of inspiring women . This lifelong community offers mentorship, connection and encouragement for wherever life may lead. Once an Ionian, always an Ionian.
We hope every graduate leaves Iona with a strong sense of self, a deep care for others and the courage to use their abilities to enrich the wider world.
