At Iona, we encourage every student to explore and grow their leadership potential at any age.
Leadership at Iona is not just for a few students - it is something all students can experience, practise and commit to every action, every day.
Students are supported to develop their skills, confidence and values needed to lead with purpose - not just in their formal roles, but in their own lives, the classroom and communities. True leadership is about service, integrity and making a positive impact on others, inspired by the values of our Presentation heritage and the example of Jesus.
Leadership development is a key component of the Iona Presentation College experience, empowering both Junior and Senior students to actively sept forward to take the initiative and make a positive difference - regardless of formal leadership positions or titles. Every act of leadership, big or small, contributes to a culture where students are inspired to lead with integrity, empathy and courage.
To prepare students for future leadership roles, whether formal or informal, and the many demands they will face in life, the College is committed to helping them develop:
