Creative Edge Challenge 2023

10 August 2023

Iona has had another spectacular year of success in the Creative Edge Thinking Challenge 2023. After competing at Regional Finals, two teams from the Senior School and a Junior School team received an invitation to attend the State Finals at Curtin University on Saturday 16 September. State Honours was awarded to our two other Iona Middle School teams who competed at Regionals, placing them in the top 5 teams for the division. Quite the achievement!

Students had three hours to creatively solve a problem in their chosen discipline and present it to judges in the form of a ten minute play. This high pressure challenge was met with energy and enthusiasm by our Iona girls who presented a solution which demonstrated excellent team work, storytelling and time management. They are also to be congratulated on the wonderful way they represented Iona to the wider community. Congratulations to Miss McDonald for facilitating our teams and continuing the tradition of success.
